S.V.A. Power Products is a Division of Ontario 952451 Inc., which was founded in 1990. We are a small family owned and operated business that prides ourselves in the quality of the products that we produce. We also distribute a great number or products from other quality manufacturers.
   If you are a customer who is looking for the best quality possible, at a competive price, you have finally found us. We use the best quality parts as possible, and use our over thirty years of experience in assembling them to the highest possible standard. Our customer base is mainly made up of individuals and companies that make their living off of/out of their vehicles. So when down time is not an option, we build/distribute products to withstand the abuse. We have no choice, some of customers lose over $200.00 a minute when they go down unexpectedly.  So when you want it done right the first time, and less than 2% warranty exposure, we can provide the products you are looking for.

     Enough of the sales pitch, let us tell you a bit about ourselves. Our company President is John Jervelund. John has been in the Auto Electric rebuilding industry for over 30 years. He is actually more part of it, than just in it.
     John was one of the founding members of the Auto Electric Rebuilders Association of Canada (A.E.R.A.C.) The first four or five meetings took place at our kitchen table. He has been heavily invovled ever since its inception. To his honor John has been made a permanent Board Member and the only “Individual” Member of the Association, all other members are companies. He has served as President in the past and is now considered the permanent Vice President of Asscoiation.
     John also has written Tech articles for several trade papers in the past. As well as giving seminars to O.E. Manufacturers and other Auto Electric manufacturers and rebuilders. He also spent some time as the Tech director for one of Canada’s leading suppliers. He currently is traveling North America doing installer seminars for one of North america’s leading manufacturers.
     It is through the extensive “networking” John has done that allows a small company such as ourselves to obtain the many products that we do, at the prices levels we, thus you recieve.
     The General Manager of day to day operations of S.V.A. Power Products, is John’s stepson Raymond Knight. John first started teaching Raymond the trade at the age of 11, mainly how to push a broom. Raymond and his peers are the reason behind the development of the non industrial high output and heavy duty units. Mudding, sweet tunes, and drag racing are some of there favorite pass times. They still start in 3 feet of mud, their lights don’t flash at idle, and many racing records have fallen to his friends.
     In 2003 Raymond set out to do something different. At the Canadian Fastest Street Car Shoutout in Grandbend, he debuted Canada’s first electric drag race vehicle, an electrified ‘87 Ninja. There were many bugs that had to be worked out over the summer, and finally a rider change. Raymond was removed and replaced by the much lighter Heather Anderson. Most would agree that they would rather watch Heather ride it than Raymond anyway. On October 11th, 2003 Heather broke the World Record for a 24 volt motorcycle by almost one half a second.      To sum up what to expect from us, mostly just plain honesty. We build a product the best that we can. We try to give the best service and tech support available anywhere. If we don’t have the answers to your questions or problems, we very likely know who does. If we can’t provide you the product you want/need competivly, we will steer you towards those that can.
