One Wire Alternators

We can’t possibly put all of our one wire units up here. The amount of space it would take up and the amount of time it would take to load would be too great. So what we have done is given you a sample of the units by generation. If you find something that you like, simply email us at sales@svapowerproducts.com or call 1-888-214-7774. We then can custom tailor an alternator to your exact needs. No one alternator is right for everyone, so by contacting us, we can build an alternator that is right for you.

Part No. 7127SE
This was and still is to some people the industry standard one wire alternator. It is a low cost alternative for low output, low tech applications, such as farm, marine and older street vehicles.
There are over 30 variations of this unit available. We do not recommend them in applications with sensitive electronics
.

Part No.: 7294SE
These units are based on the next generation of GM alternators, the 12si series. They are basically the same as the 7127SE, with the exception of better rectifier and a turbine fan for increased cooling.
There are the same number of variations with these units, and again we do not recommend them in anything but low tech equipment.

Part No.: 7290SE
These units are based on the GM 17si series of alternators. They are a bigger body unit than the 10 & 12si series alternators. This increases low end performance and helps them dissipate heat better. A very rugged unit very suitable for 4 wheeling and other abusive applications. Available in six different models, ranging from 100 to 170 amps.

The following units are suitable for vehicles eqiupped computers, MSD/Crane ignitions, stereos, and other sensitive equipment. This is made possible by the use of avalanche diodes, which eliminate voltage spikes overs 32volts. Most, but not all, manufacturers build voltage spike supression into their parts, however it is possible for those protective measures to fail. This is why we recommend the avalanche equipped units, as they surpress the spike at its most common source, the alternator.
It can also be noted that major OE Automotive Manufacturers will spend on average over $1000.00 per vehicle supressing/prtecting against voltage spikes. GM started using avalanche diodes in the 80’s, other major manufacturers like Bosch are also using them now as well.

Part No.: CS121ACSE
At under ten pounds this unit is a little mighty mouse. It produces fairly good low rpm amperage. There are several mounting configurations so it easy to adapt to different applications. These units range from 80 to 160 amps.

Part No.: CS130ACSE
Our most popular one wire alternator. A direct bolt in replacement of the earlier GM 10 &12si alternators. It has superior low rpm amperage, depending on pulley ratios and idle, over a 100amps at idle is common. Extra large bearings for high rpm applications.
Available in 120, 160, 200 amp models. When all possible combinations of pulleys, clock positions, and mounting brackets are considered, there are over 7,000 possible combinations. Of those about 10 are really common. Click on picture for more information.

Lots more to come. There will also be links to each part with full descriptions and output curves, etc.
